As we recently noted, this year’s September fashion magazine issues are uncharacteristically slim, which perhaps makes next week’s opening of "The September Issue," a documentary chronicling the production of Vogue magazine‘s September 2007 issue–which weighed almost five pounds–a little bittersweet. The documentary, which premiered at the Sundance Festival in January, is only being released in select cities for now. We haven’t decided if we’ll see it in the theaters when/if it makes to our city; perhaps we’ll just watch "The Devil Wears Prada" one more time. Tell us, will you go to see this magazine documentary?
