Rolling Stone_Obama_201010.pngIs this a musical olive branch? Rolling Stone magazine has announced its plans to partner with Dubai Media City-based HGW Media for the first installment of Rolling Stone Middle East magazine, due out in November.

Rolling Stone Middle East will cover culture in the entire region, as well as from the international stage, including film, current affairs and events, and of course, music. Aside from original content, the Middle Eastern publication will also include syndicated stories from the U.S. edition.

The U.S. version of the magazine has an estimated circulation of 1.5
million and covers pop culture, and politics (the
current issue features President Barack Obama on his third cover for
the magazine).
