I love this festive time of year, from the decorations to the celebrations; the holidays are a magical time to bring family and friends together. Holiday parties abound and there is no more perfect time to give the gift of romance. In place of a traditional hostess gift, I like to share the love and give my friends something that encourages their romance with their partner.
Holiday Spirits: Instead of just a bottle of wine, or liquor, add a pair of matching wine glasses.
Candles: EVERY room should smell good during the holidays, so give a set of votive candles that match their bedroom instead of a set of traditional holiday-scented candles.
Breakfast in bed basket: Include various jams, baguettes, croissants, scones or bagels, fresh fruit, coffee beans/grinds, and tea bags so that after an evening of entertaining, there are no worries the morning after.
Fireside: Gift some gourmet hot cocoa, two matching mugs, and a plush, warm blanket so they can snuggle together by the fire.
Seductive Sounds of the Season: Give the gift of music with a romantic and relaxing seasonal compilation that they can enjoy together while winding down.
Meal for Two: Give your hostess a night off from cooking with everything needed for a meal for two— gourmet pasta, sauces, infused olive oils, balsamic vinegar- wrapped in a beautiful bowl or serving dish.
