With its October issue Elle magazine is celebrating its 25th anniversary. And for the special occasion, the women’s magazine boasts four different magazine covers featuring actresses Amanda Seyfried, Megan Fox, Gabourey Sidibe and author/fashion designer/reality TV star Lauren Conrad.

Inside the special anniversary issues the magazine profiled 25 women aged 25 years-old (or near it); the women talk about the best and worst things about being 25:

Amanda Seyfried: “The best thing is, I’m happy. The worst is that I’m scared; the scariest thing is that I know it can’t be easy–the years to come.”

Lauren Conrad: “It’s your time to be selfish; you still have freedom.”
     
Gabourey Sidibe on celebrating her 25th birthday: “Part of me thought it would be weird if people knew I was a grown-up playing a teenager in Precious. So I had a twenty-first-birthday party. We had drinks and went to a strip club called Shotgun Willie’s.”

Other women recognized on the list include Olympic medalist Lindsey Vonn, actress Mila Kunis, author (and John McCain’s daughter) Meghan McCain and singer Janelle Monae.
