Ready to Feel Good? Read Prevention Magazine

Preventionmag.jpgIf we were playing the word association game and you said “Prevention magazine, July 2010,” my one-word response would be “positive.” “Happy” and “upbeat” would also be good answers, all great words to describe this issue.

From cover to cover, the act of simply reading this issue of Prevention magazine made me feel good. It’s full of great articles, tips and ideas for healthy living, from recipes to workout ideas to beauty tips.

Look for the issue with mom and Olympic-gold-medalist Dara Torres on the cover, and inside you’ll find:

  • “Double Your Pleasure.” Without giving too much away, I’ll just say that the piece starts with the benefits of pairing coffee and chocolate. Delicious!
  • In “400 Calories or Less at the Airport,” you’ll find several yummy options for eating on the run. If you travel much, you know how difficult it can be to eat healthy as you shuffle to catch your flight.
  • “Come on out & Play” offers 13 outdoor activities that won’t make you feel like you’re doing a boring workout. There is sure to be something on in this list that you’ll love.
  • Finally, be sure to check out “Our 4-Step Stir-Fry.” Included is a mix and match list of ingredients sure to please any palate. I’ll be trying one later this week!

If you’ve been looking for a bit of inspiration, just a small step or two to take toward living and feeling better, the July issue of Prevention magazine may be just what you’re looking for.
