We’ve all been told to eat our veggies, drink our milk and stop eating so much sugar and other junk food. In a country with such delicacies (kidding!) as the Baconator Triple from Wendy’s, which boasts 1,330 calories, the BK Quad Stacker (or “Suicide Burger,” as it’s sometimes called) from Burger King delivering 930 calories, and the Big Mac from McDonald’s that contains 540 calories, it’s no wonder other countries call us fat. With around 12.7 million children affected by obesity in the last decade (Source), it’s time to start living healthier lives and set good examples for others.

Getting healthy may be easier than you think, and that’s a good thing for all of us. While a healthy life centers around proper amounts of exercise, there’s also a much larger (and many people would argue, more important) area – nutrition.
